Thank you for sharing your cabin with us for the week. We had a great time! When we arrived the cabin was spotless and felt like home right away…Thank you for your hospitality.

We enjoyed staying in your cozy and comfortable cabin this week. It is a wonderful location for our favorite up north places – Empire (The Secret Garden and the Empire Bluffs Trail) Glen Arbor (Cherry Republic), Point Betsie Lighthouse and, of course, all the gorgeous scenery.

Wow! What a fun time we’ve had! The accommodations were first class – it was perfect for a 50th wedding anniversary get – away! We will be back next year…

This place was great! Caught 32 bass, saw 1 deer, 6 loons, 2 eagles, 1 porcupine on Deadstream Rd (alive). Rode bike trails, kayaked, visited Fish Town, won $100 at the casino and ice cream everywhere we went…

My favorite time of day is definitely the early morning – loons, tranquil water and wonderful sunrises. What a majestic setting to refresh yourself.

What a delightful haven, a private restful retreat, with the North Woods at the back porch of a charming, cozy cottage!

Spent a gorgeous day here at Twin Birch Resort on a photo shoot for TRAVERSE MAGAZINE. Thanks Diane and Ronnie for opening this most charming cottage to us and our readers.

The best thing about Twin Birch is not the quietness of the lake, the call of the loons early in the morning or the soaring bald eagle – the best thing is the attention paid to the guests by Diane and Ronnie. The love of this place by them is infectious.

The Baloga Family July 01, 2016

This place has provided the time for family to draw closer to each other. Laughing, teasing, game nights, boat races, fishing for the big fish, bass and all the blue gills and perch. Camp fires at night with marshmallows was a perfect wind down activity.

It’s hard to imagine a more tranquil spot than Little Platte Lake. It’s worth rising early in the morning to watch the mist rise over the water and hear the loons call out.
